Akchour Waterfalls, the beauty of the nature

             

33 kilometers from the blue city of Chefchaouen, in the vicinity of Talassemtane National Park, we find one of the greatest natural shows in Morocco, the Akchour waterfalls.

The waterfalls, declared as a
biosphere reserve by Unesco in 2016, invite to a rich sensory experience.

The way to the waterfalls is full of great and  beautiful views and natures and easy to access for all members of the family. The national way also provides access to another major geographic arch, the local people call it arch of God.it's had this name because it's maded by nature,

Arriving at the intersection that separates the roads from the Cascade from that of the bridge, we will take the road to the bridge following the bed of the El Kelaa river. Despite the slight slope, we can already notice the first waterfalls and wooden bridges. All along the way we can see frail cane constructions and road ornaments like benches which help give the area a magical sensation.

As the route gets more complicated, the beauty of the area increases by a notch.

The waterfalls are each time bigger until reaching the big waterfall of Akchour where the water seems to have patiently sculpted a magic decoration of capricious forms the limestone rock.
